Payments for traffic citations can be made at http://publicindex.sccourts.org/jasper/onlinepayments. You must provide your last name and ticket number to pay your fine online. Money Orders, Certified Checks and Cashier’s Checks made payable to the Ridgeland Municipal Court and can be mailed to Post Office Box 1119, Ridgeland, South Carolina 29936. We do not accept personal checks. Payments can also be made in person at One Town Square, Ridgeland, South Carolina.
Yes, we take credit/debit cards for fines. Fees of 1.7% of the total fine plus $1.00 are assessed on all credit/debit cards. Credit Cards can be used online to make payments at http://publicindex.sccourts.org/jasper/onlinepayments, or in person at Town Hall.
It can take up to 5 business days for a ticket to show up in the online system. (longer during holidays). Payments can also be made via US mail.
The court date is printed on the front of your traffic citation. We hold court on Mondays at 9:00am. The court opens at 8:30am.
A request to reschedule your case must be received before 5:00pm on the Friday before your court date in writing via email or fax. You will receive a new court date via mail. Please note that a case can only be continued one time and will be scheduled for the officers next assigned court date.
