May 30

12:16 a.m. Officers responded to the Day's Inn in reference to a black jeep left on the property.

1:41 a.m. Officers responded to 5511 Tillman Road in reference to assisting the Jasper County Sheriff's Office. The Sheriff's Office responded to the location in reference to a subject possibly attempting to enter into the residence without permission. The call and case was handle by the Jasper County Sheriff's Office.

5:41 p.m. Officers responded to 201 McCormack Ave in reference to the caller's son stating he was tearing items up in the house. Officers arrived on scene and the son had already departed the location which is his residence as well.

6:22 p.m. Officers responded to Main St near the Burger King in reference to a vehicle collision. Upon arrival officers located a burgundy four door sedan and a gold Chevy Tahoe that collided. There were no injuries reported.

10:22 p.m. Officers responded to 1st Avenue in reference to loud music. Officers checked the area and was unable to locate any loud music.

May 29

10:45 a.m. Officers responded to Main St at Green St in reference to a vehicle collision. Upon arrival it was learned that a Kia and a Ford collided. There were no injuries.

3:14 p.m. Officers responded to Coosaw Scenic Dr near Murad Dr in reference to a tree down. Officers were able to remove the tree and open up the roadway.

3:26 p.m. Officers responded to the 21 mile marker north bound of Interstate 95 in reference to a disabled vehicle. Upon arrival officers were advised that a white in color Chevrolet Silverado had a defective fuel pump. Officers stood by until a wrecker came and got the vehicle.

8:50 p.m. Officers responded to 20 Shadetree St in reference to a wanted subject. Upon arrival contact was made with Angel Rose who had an active warrant with this agency. Rose was transported to the Jasper County Detention Center and booked for Leaving the Scene of an accident with injury

22:56 p.m. Officers responded to 211 James L Taylor Dr in reference to a snake in a guest's room. Officers removed the snake and relocated in a wooded area.

11:13 p.m. Officers responded to the Quality Inn in reference to an elderly male with dementia walking away from his room and family. Officers searched the nearby area and the subject was located and returned to his family.

May 28

7:53 a.m. Officers took a report for a collision at Wilson St and Green St where a Merceedes was struck by another vehicle that fled the scene.

8:44 a.m. Officers checked the area of Sheffields Oil for a suspicious vehicle

10:18 a.m. Officers responded to the Blue Heron Learning Center for a damaged to a window. The complainant advised the window was broke several days ago.

2:21 p.m. Officers responded to Burger King in reference to a civil dispute of a bill

2:31 p.m. Officers responded to the 24 mile marker south bound of Interstate 95 where a Nissan Rogue and a Hyundai Sonata had collided. No injuries were reported.

6:35 p.m. Officers responded to the Good Hope Plantation were several individuals were trespassing. Officers made contact with the individuals and placed them on trespass notice from the property.

8:16 p.m. Officers responded to Dolphin Dr in reference to pedestrian versus vehicle collision. Upon arrival it was discovered a 16 year old male juvenile was struck while riding a bicycle. The suspect vehicle, a black Dodge Ram, left the scene. The juvenile sustained minor injuries and declined medical treatment at the time of report. After investigation was conducted officers were able to obtain substantial information to obtain an arrest warrant again the driver, Angel Rose(43 year old female from Ridgeland, SC). Investigation into this matter is considered ongoing.

May 27

1:35 a.m. Officers assisted a disable vehicle on Interstate 95

10:26 a.m. Officers responded to the Short Stop BP on Jacob Smart Blvd in reference to a vehicle collision. Upon arrival officers located a white Chevy Tahoe and a White Infiniti that struck one another. No injuries were reported.

11:09 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on West Adams St in reference to the caller wishing to file a harrassment report.

1:22 p.m. Officers responded to the Dollar General on Main St in reference to an unknown individual causing damage to a gold Buick that was parked at the location.

1:55 p.m. Officers responded to Piggly Wiggly in reference to an argument between employees.

5:41 p.m. Officers took a report for a black Toyota Camry that hit a deer on the off ramp of Interstate 95 causing functional damage to the vehicle.

May 26

03:12 am A reckless driver was reported traveling south on Interstate 95

06:59 am A welfare check was requested at a residence on East Wilson St in reference to an elderly female. The female was found to be safe.

11:57 am Officers responded to Live Oak Rd in reference to a vehicle collision. Upon arrival officers located a Honda Civic and Ford Expedition that collided. No injuries were reported.

12:54 p.m. Officers responded to Ken's Tires on Jacob Smart Blvd in reference to an argument that took place in the parking lot. Officers arrived on scene however all parties left prior to arrival.

3:06 p.m. Officers took a report of property damage at the Ridgeland Farmers Market located on Main St.

3:26 p.m. Officers assisted a disable truck on Old House Rd that was partially blocking traffic.

7:39 p.m. A reckless driver was reported to be traveling north on Interstate 95

9:26 p.m. Officers were alerted to loud music coming from a location on 1st Avenue. Officers checked the area and the music was turned down.

8:53 a.m. A red Ram truck was reported as driving recklessly on Old House Road.

9:04 a.m. Officers responded to West Main Street for an activated alarm.

11:10 a.m. Officers met with a complainant at the Ridgeland Police Department in reference to an assault and battery.

3:19 p.m. Officers responded to the Enmarket Station, 8250 East Main Street, for a civil matter.

7:17 p.m. Officers responded to Kingdom Touch Ministries, 6714 Tillman Road, for an activated alarm.

8:06 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on Red Drum Street for a juvenile not wanting to go to school.

10:02 a.m. Officers responded to Woodridge Apartments, 414 South Logan Street, for damage to a vehicle.

2:28 p.m. Officers responded to the 24 mile marker north bound on I-95 for a vehicle collision involving one vehicle. One person was transported by EMS to a local hospital.

2:50 p.m. Officers responded to the intersection of Main Street and Jacob Smart Boulevard for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

5:07 p.m. Officers responded to the 24 mile marker north bound on I-95 for a pedestrian on the interstate.

3:37 a.m. Officers responded to the north bound commercial motor vehicle rest area for the exit being blocked by vehicles.

10:17 a.m. Officers responded to Grahamville Road for a vehicle collison involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

11:23 a.m. A white Ford F-150 was reported as driving recklessly at the 23 mile marker south bound on I-95.

12:46 p.m. Officers responded to South Jacob Smart Boulevard for a motorist assist.

3:58 p.m. Officers responded to Piggly Wiggly, 10847 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a hit and run collision in the parking lot.

8:05 p.m. Officers responded to North Jacob Smart Boulevard to assist EMS with a patient transport.

8:37 p.m. A white semi was reported as driving recklessly at the 11 mile marker north bound on I-95.

9:42 p.m. Officers responded to Piggly Wiggly, 10847 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a fight in progress. Cal'Monti Dessausure was arrested for assault and battery, 3rd degree, and transport to the Jasper County Detention Center.

3:11 a.m. A white semi was reported as driving recklessly at the 20 mile marker south bound on I-95.

4:20 a.m. Officers responded to South Logan Street for a report of a suspicious vehicle.

4:30 p.m. Officers responded to Bennett Law Firm, 1130 3rd Avenue, for an activated alarm.

5:07 p.m. Officers responded to B&T's Food Fresh, 8205 East Main Street, for a report of a suspicious vehicle.

9:51 p.m. A blue Mazda SUV was reported as driving recklessly at the 12 mile marker north bound on I-95.

2:21 p.m. Officers responded to the BP Station, 80 Blue Heron Drive, for a report of property damage.

2:33 p.m. Officers responded to the north bound rest area on I-95 for a welfare check.

3:00 p.m. Officers responded to the BP Station, 10728 South Jacob Smart Boulevard, for an attempted shoplifting.

6:23 p.m. Officers met with a complainant on East Main Street in reference to a road rage incident on I-95.

9:19 p.m. Officers responded to the BP Station, 80 Blue Heron Drive, for a report of an intoxicated subject on the property. The subject was gone when officers arrived.

9:57 p.m. Two Chevrolet Camaros were reported as driving recklessly at the 14 mile marker north bound on I-95.

May 19

12:29 a.m. Officers responded to a residence om Hagin Drive for two roommates arguing.

5:28 a.m. Officers responded to the BP Station, 80 Blue Heron Drive, for a report of an intoxicated male in the business. Damien Busby was located on the property and was intoxicated. Busby was arrested for public disorderly conduct and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

9:41 a.m. Officers responded to Devon Wood Apartments, 137 Captain Bill Road, for a welfare check.

1:02 p.m. Officers responded to Bay Tree Apartments, 107 1st Avenue, for a report of loud music in the parking lot.

4:51 p.m. A silver Ford truck was reported as driving recklessly on North Jacob Smart Boulevard.

5:08 p.m. Officers responded to the Quality Inn, 221 James L. Taylor drive, for a civil matter.

7:30 p.m. Officers responded to East Main Street for a dog running at large.

May 18

3:52 a.m. A blue semi was reported as driving recklessly at the 25 mile marker south bound on I-95.

10:05 a.m. Officers responded to Bank of the Lowcountry, 8058 East Main Street, for a domestic dispute. A warrant has been obtained charging Sharkee Alejandro Mitchell with Domestic Violence, 2nd degree.

10:44 a.m. Officers responded to Logan Lane Apartments, 544 South Logan Street, for a suspicious person on the property.

11:08 a.m. Officers responded to Out Post, 10535 South Jacob Smart Boulevard, for an activated alarm.

12:10 p.m. A red semi was reported as driving recklessly at the 13 mile marker north bound on I-95.

2:28 p.m. Officers met with a complainant at the Ridgeland Police Department in reference to a civil matter.

4:50 a.m. Officers responded to Gander RV, 401 Sycamore Drive, for an activated alarm.

9:54 a.m. Officers responded to the 22 mile marker north bound on I-95 for a motorist assist.

11:44 a.m. Officers met with a complainant at the Ridgeland Police Deprtment in reference to harassment.

12:48 p.m. Officers responded to the Ridgeland Library, 451 East Wilson Street, for a civil matter.

2:12 p.m. Officers responded to Waffle House, 8185 East Main Street, where Bernanrd Lamont Hamilton reported to work. Hamilton is accused of breach of trust at the business and he had an outstanding warrant. Hamilton was arrested and transported to thr Jasper County Detention Center.

2:27 p.m. A black Chevrolet Tahoe was reported as driving rcklessly at the 13 mile marker north bound on I-95.

5:40 p.m. A white Chevrolet Tahoe was reported as driving recklessly at the 27 mile marker south bound on I-95.

6:54 p.m. Officers responded to Russell Street for a report of a dog running at large.

9:17 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Grays Highway for a report of two suspicious male subjects in the yard.

9:18 p.m. Officers responded to the 20 mile marker south bound on I-95 for a motorist assist.

9:50 p.m. Officers responded to the 18 mile marker south bound on I-95 for a vehicle collision involving one vehicle. No injuries were reported.

4:53 a.m. A white Ford Crown Victoria was reported as driving recklessly at the 24 mile marker south bound on I-95.

12:51 p.m. Officers responded to the Waffle House, 8185 East Main Street, for a report of a breach of trust. Warrants have been obtained charging Bernard L. Hamilton for breach of trust.

2:08 p.m. A white Dodge Charger was reported as driving recklessly on Brandon Cove.

6:58 p.m. Officers responded to Bay Tree Apartments, 107 1st Avenue, to assist the Ridgeland Fire Department with a dumpster fire.

7:09 p.m. Officers responded to the 20 mile marker south bound on I-95 for a vehicle collision involving one vehicle. One person was transported by EMS to a local hospital.

7:35 p.m. Officers responded to the 22 mile marker south bound on I-95 for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

12:49 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on Crabapple Lane to assist the Jasper County Sheriff's Office with a shooting incident.

12:35 p.m. Officers responded to the Jasper County Detention Center, 12008 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a deceased inmate in their cell. The incident remains under further investiagtion.

3:10 p.m. Officers responded to Devon Wood Apartments, 137 Captain Bill Road, for a report of a male subject trespassing on the property.

4:48 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on McTeer Street for an activated alarm.

7:06 p.m. Officers responded to Sycamore Street for an activated alarm.

7:16 p.m. Officers responded to the BP Station, 11122 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a report of a subject being shot in the parking lot. Officers spotted the vehicle given by witnesses and a short pursuit began. The vehicle stopped on Rice Shire Road and offiers took a subject into custody. Malik Jamal Bostick was arrested for two counts of attempted murder and two counts of possession of a weapon during a violent crime. Bostick was transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

11:19 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Sisters Ferry Road for an activated alarm.

11:42 p.m. Officers responded to Bay Tree Apartments, 107 1st Avenue, for a report of loud music in the parking lot.

12:42 a.m. Officers responded to New Hong Kong Restaurant, 8176 East Main Street, for an activated alarm.

8:23 a.m. Officers responded to South Jacob Smart Boulevard for a welfare check on a pedestrian.

9:42 a.m. Officers responded to Sure Stay Motel, 511 James L. Taylor Drive, for a possible domesic dispute.

6:48 p.m. Officers repsonded to East Main Street for a report of a suspicious male subject in the roadway.

9:03 p.m. Officers responded to the Siesta Motel, 10530 South Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a report of a male subject damaging property of another. No charges were filed.

11:22 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Lynchs Ford to assist the Jasper County Sheriff's Office with a domestic dispute. Neyauna Fields was on scene and she was showing an active arrest warrant for the Ridgeland Police Department. Fields was arrested and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

May 13

5:54 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on Hagin Drive for a female subject arguing with roommates.

7:30 a.m. A grey Dodge van was reported as driving recklessly at the 29 mile marker south bound on I-95.

9:08 a.m. Officers responded to the BP Station, 11122 North Jacob SMart Boulevard, for an activated alarm.

9:48 a.m. Officers responded to Volunteer's in Medicine, 11332 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for an activated alarm.

12:12 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Wood Duck Street for a welfare check on a dog.

1:09 p.m. Officers responded to the Jasper County Detention Center, 12008 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for an assault and battery between two inmates. One of the inmates also assaulted six correction officers. Charges are pending on Dustin Travis Kimberly for attempted murder, assault and battery on a corrections officer and throwing bodily fluid.

2:10 p.m. Officers responded to Grays Highway for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

2:32 p.m. Officers responded to the Day's Inn, 8216 East Main Street, to assist EMS with a patient transport.

4:56 p.m. Officers responded to West Main Street for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

5:28 a.m. Officers responded to the south bound commercial motor vehicle rest area on I-95 for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

12:25 p.m. Officers responded to East Main Street for a vehicle collison involving two vehicles. One person was transported by EMS to a local hospital.

2:26 p.m. Officers responded to the parking lot of Al Chile, 8084 East Main Street, for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. One driver, Alphonso Howard, was found to be undewr the inluence of alcohol. Howard was arrested for driving under the influence and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

2:43 p.m. Officers responded to Piggly Wiggly, 10847 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a report of a male subject panhandling in the parking lot.

4:00 p.m. A grey Honda Civic was reported as driving recklessly on Bees Creek Road.

8:10 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Shade Tree Street for a reported burglary. The incident remains under further investigation.

2:36 a.m. A white box truck was reported as driving recklessly at the 25 mile marker south bound on I-95.

8:43 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on Shade Tree Street for a report of property damage to a vehicle. The incident remains under further investigation.

10:26 a.m. Officers responded to Bay Tree Apartments, 107 1st Avenue, for a report of loud music in the parking lot.

1:21 p.m. Officers responded to Day's Inn, 8216 East Main Street, for a report of two females arguing in the parking lot.

1:46 p.m. Officers responded to Piggly Wiggly, 10847 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a report of a male subject panhandling in the parking lot. The male subject was located and placed on trespass notice at request of he business.

5:22 p.m. A black pickup was reported as driving recklessly on South Jacob Smart Boulevard.

6:08 p.m. Officers responded to the parking lot of South State Bank, 10671 South Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a welfare check on a subject in a parked vehicle.

10:17 p.m. Officers responded to the BP Station, 11122 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for an activated alarm.

5:49 a.m. Officers responded to North Jacob Smart Boulevard near Frontage Road for a vehicle collision involving one vehicle. No injuries were reported.

6:33 a.m. Officers responded to Pleasure Car Wash, 105777 South Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a report of a suspicious vehicle.

8:37 a.m. Officers responded to Coastal Carolina Medical Center to transport a patient to Charleston, SC, for a mental evaluation.

10:54 p.m. Officers responded to Heron Crossing Apartments, 72 Heron Crossing Road, for damage to roperty. Tiffany North was arrested for damage to property and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

2:07 a.m. Officers responded to the Plantation Inn, 11433 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a 911 hang up call.

9:29 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on hagin Drive to assist EMS.

3:47 p.m. A green Kia Soul was reported as driving recklessly at the 28 mile marker south bound on I-95.

4:05 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Sailfish Circle for a domestic dispute.

1:05 a.m. Officers responded to New Hong Kong Restaurant, 8176 East Main Street, for an activated alarm.

3:29 a.m. Officers responded to the 22 mile marker north bound on I-95 for a pedestrian on the interstate.

9:38 a.m. Officers responded to the 23 mile marker on I-95 for a motorist assist.

11:36 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on Trout Street for an attempted burglary.

12:02 p.m. Officers responded to East Wilson Street for a report of shots being fired near East Main Street and North Logan Street. Winesses described three subjects and the subjects were located on East Wilson Street. One of the subjects, Takarry Polite, had a concealed handgun on his person. Polite was charged with unlawful carry of a handgun. Tyshawn Smith was charged with poosession of marijuana with intent to distribute. Smith and Polite were transported to the Jasper County Detention Center. The third subject was released without charges.

1:46 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Oak Plantation Drive for an activated alarm.

4:19 p.m. Officers responded to B&T's Food Fresh, 8205 East Main Street, for a report of a larceny. The incident remains under further investigation.

9:01 a.m. Officers responded to Live Oaks Physical Therapy, 8084 East Main Street, for a report of a buzzard in the parking lot.

2:00 p.m. Officers responded to Bay Tree Apartments, 107 1st Avenue, for a report of suspicious activity in the parking lot.

8:05 p.m. A white BMW was reported as driving recklessly at the 22 milr marker north bound on I-95.

10:16 p.m. A black Lexus sedan was reported as driving recklessly at the 10 mile marker north bound on I-95.

11:33 p.m. Officers responded to the 24 mile marker south bound on I-95 for a motorist assist.

2:13 a.m. A white semi was reported as driving recklessly at the 28 mile marker south bound on I-95.

7:15 a.m. Officers responded to Old House Road for a vehicle collision involving one vehicle. No injuries were reported.

7:47 a.m. Officers responded to Kingdom Touch Ministries, 6714 Tillman Road, for an activated alarm.

10:54 a.m. Officers responded to Grays Highway for a motorist assist.

3:22 p.m. Officers responded to East Main Street for a report of two suspicious people in the roadway.

3:33 p.m. Officers responded to Bay Tree Apartments, 107 1st Avenue, for a report of loud music in the parking lot.

4:14 p.m. Officers responded to Grays Highway for a report of a suspicious male in front of Ridgeland Baptist Church.

10:06 p.m. Officers responded to the Quality Inn, 221 James L. Taylor Drive, for a report of two roommates arguing.

11:10 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on East Adams Street for a report of a male subject trespassing on the property.

12:41 a.m. Officers responded to Enmarket, 8250 East Main Street, to assist EMS with a patient transport.

9:17 a.m. A black semi was reported as driving recklessly at the 21 mile marker south bound on I-95.

3:27 p.m. A silver Chevrolet HHR was reported as driving recklessly at the 28 mile marker south bound on I-95.

5:24 p.m. A blue Honda Accord was reported as driving recklessly at the 14 mile marker north bound on I-95.

6:07 p.m. Officers responded to the 21 mile marker north bound on I-95 for a vehicle collision involving one vehicle. No injuries were reported.

6:42 p.m. Officers observed a silver SUV committing a traffic infraction and attempted a traffic stop on the vehicle. The vehicle failed to stop and led officers on a pusuit that ended on Coosaw Scenic Drive. The driver of the vehicle, Raymond Fitzgerald Green, was charged with driving under the influence, driving under suspension, failure to stop for blue lights, open container of beer, wrong vehicle tag, resisting arrest, unlawful carry of a handgun and felon in possession of a handgun. Green was transported to the Jasper County Detentionm Center. a

8:41 p.m. Officers responded to Grahamville Road for a report of a suspicious person.

9:25 a.m. Officers responded to Saint Paul's Methodist Church, 7514 West Main Street, for a report of suspicious activity in an outbuilding.

1:58 p.m. Officers responded to Grahamville Road for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

2:08 p.m. Officers responded to the BP Station, 11122 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for an activated alarm.

10:24 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on West Smith Street for a report of two females arguing in a yard.

11:05 P.M. Officers responded to the Palms Motel, 10735 South Jacob Smart Boulevard, to assist EMS with a pateint transport.

11:37 p.m. Officers responded to the Family Dollar, 73 South Green Street, for an activated alarm.
