DR Horton is planning a 1,200 single family home development on 405.195 acres consisting of TMS Nos 046-00-07-002, 046-00-07-001, 046-00-07-018, 063-00-01-007, and 046-00-06-120, and 063-00-01-006 known as the Nimmer Tract. The Owner proposes to develop therein a mixture of residential, civic and recreational and open space as described in the Special District Master Plan Standards. The current zoning of the parcels allows for 6 single family homes per acre while the proposed development would allow for approx.. 2.9 units per acre. A new fire station to be paid for by the developer as well as a traffic signal at the intersection of Tarboro Rd. and Tillman Highway are also planned. Water and sewer line extensions are also being paid for by the Owner.
